Holmes Construction were engaged in the role of Main Contractor at this heritage building, located on the Terrace in the heart of Wellington.

During stage 1 of the works, our dedicated team constructed a new roofing structure with membrane, installed a lift for enhanced accessibility and carried out the comprehensive interior refurbishments on level 3 of the building, tailored to accommodate incoming tenants.

Stage 2 involved the fitout refurbishment to levels 1 and 2.

Stage 3, recently completed in March 2024, involved waterproofing the basement and establishing a new bar, as well as retaining space to the basement and the fitout works on the ground floor. We demonstrated an extremely high level of finish, collaborating with a number of trades to ensure both quality and value. We managed the intricacies of addressing underground water issues and laying new concrete floors, while also accommodating high-level services within a constrained site.
