Michael Pollard brings five years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a career that began in Wellington’s construction and landscaping sector before moving into professional consultancy. Prior to joining Holmes, he spent over three years with AECOM as a Professional Quantity Surveyor, gaining experience across the full project lifecycle — from feasibility studies and cost planning through to contract administration and final accounts. During this time, he was part of the award-winning AECOM QS team, recognised by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in both 2018/2019 and 2020/2021.

Since joining Holmes Construction, Michael has taken on a more site-based role, working closely with project teams to deepen his understanding of construction methodology and how buildings come together. His focus has been on contract administration through to final accounts, alongside concept-level estimating for key clients. Known as a strong communicator, Michael has quickly integrated into the Holmes team and built trusted relationships with clients and industry partners. He is excited to continue growing his expertise while contributing to Holmes’ high-quality delivery across a diverse range of projects.
