Holmes was engaged as the Main Contractor on the seismic remediation and ground-floor fit-out at The Salvation Army HQ at 202 Cuba Street.

While the ground and first floors of the building were vacated for the works, Levels 2 and 3 remained occupied throughout the construction programme. Noisy activities, including structure-borne sound work, were carried out outside regular working hours to minimise disruption to current tenants.

A key challenge of this project was completing the works while the front of the building on Cuba Street remained operational throughout. Due to our team's expertise, we carefully coordinated the construction activities and upheld clear communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and regular updates throughout the project.
