Tyler holds a Bachelor of Building Science, with majors in Project Management and Sustainable Engineering Systems, bringing a strong technical foundation to his role on site.

Since joining Holmes Construction in January 2022, Tyler has progressed through the business from Construction Cadet to Site Supervisor, and now Site Manager. Prior to this, he gained experience as a Project Coordinator at Maycroft Construction, building early capability in programme management and coordination.

Tyler has contributed to a range of complex and high-profile projects, including Owen Street Apartments, multiple stages of the NZCIS campus – the Performance Institute and blocks C, B and J, KO Reynolds Street, the Southern Cross Hospital seismic upgrade, and most recently the new Holmes office building in Thorndon, Wellington.

With a structured approach and a focus on delivery, Tyler is known for driving programmes forward while maintaining quality and consistency on site.
